Terms of Service

By accessing or using CHARIS ("the Platform"), operated by Sicuro Group LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform.

CHARIS is a Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Re-Entry Trigger Monitor aligned with ISO 22301:2019. The Platform monitors crisis-onset and re-entry triggers across countries using publicly available data sources and artificial intelligence to generate risk assessments and phased re-entry readiness reports. Outputs are intended to support - not replace - your own intelligence, security, and business-continuity processes.

The Platform is currently a beta release. Features may change, be removed, or temporarily fail without notice. Assessments, trigger statuses, re-entry phase calculations, and personnel clearance results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Service availability is not guaranteed and there is no formal SLA during the beta period. You acknowledge and accept that you use the Platform at your own risk, and that Sicuro Group LLC bears no responsibility for any decision, action, or omission taken on the basis of beta outputs.

The information provided by CHARIS is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional security advice, crisis management consulting, evacuation guidance, re-entry authorisation, threat assessment, immigration advice, or any form of professional recommendation. You should not rely solely on the Platform's outputs when making security, safety, evacuation, re-entry, travel, or business continuity decisions. Always seek qualified professional advice appropriate to your specific circumstances and verify against official government and travel-advisory sources.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults, and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, Sicuro Group LLC excludes all warranties, conditions, representations, and terms of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, timeliness, availability, security, non-infringement, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, Sicuro Group LLC, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates have no liability to you or to any third party, whether in contract, in tort including negligence, under statute, or on any other basis, for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these terms, including any loss arising from an assessment, trigger status, posture band, re-entry phase calculation, personnel clearance output, or report that was wrong, late, missing, or never produced at all, and including any decision made or not made in reliance on the Platform.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Sicuro Group LLC's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Platform and these terms is limited to the sum you actually paid to Sicuro Group LLC under the invoice or subscription the claim relates to, in the twelve months before the claim arose. The free tier is provided at no charge, so where you have paid nothing that sum is zero. No refund, credit, or other remedy exceeds that sum on any basis.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud and for gross negligence. Where the mandatory law that applies to you treats you as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits a right that law does not allow to be limited, and the exclusions and limitations above apply to the fullest extent that law does permit.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sicuro Group LLC, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your reliance on any information, assessments, or reports generated by the Platform; (c) your violation of these Terms of Service; (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (e) any decisions or actions taken based on data provided by the Platform.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your two-factor authentication setup. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You must not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform.

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Sicuro Group LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Sicuro Group LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

These Terms of Service are versioned. The current version is identified at the top of this page, and each material change receives a new version identifier. Where a change is material, you will be shown the revised document and asked to accept it before continuing to use your account, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
